Gai-Tronic NEMA 4X, Rugged Analog Phone

NEMA 4X Rugged Telephones are designed for use in extreme weather conditions where temperature and moisture are a concern. They are ideal for use in areas that require a direct water spray (hose-down) for cleaning purposes or where a non-corrosive material is required. The 354-001 Series Rugged Telephone is perfectly suited for areas considered too harsh for a standard telephone.

The rugged, noise-cancelling, hearing aid-compatible handset includes a 6-foot (extended) Hytrel® coiled cord that retains its coil memory better than any other material available. The sealed, metal keypad is additionally protected by a rubber boot that has a Braille reference. The non-metallic enclosure is available in three colors and the stainless steel front panel, stainless steel assembly hardware, and the conformal-coated electronics provide a superior resistance to corrosion.

A Ring Detect Relay option is available to control a peripheral sounder or strobe for ring notification in a high noise environment.
